vSlice technology from MD is the most flexible way to deploy dedicated resources for your applications. vSlices overcome the weaknesses associated with traditional VPS solutions, and are far more flexible (and not to mention a lot cheaper) then dedicated servers. vSlices are highly available, clustered VPS solutions that do not have the same single points of failure that other VPS solutions do.

4. High Availability

vSlices are not tied down to any one piece of hardware. If a server does fail then vSlices are migrated to spare pieces of hardware inside the cluster with almost no downtime. vSlices are load balanced across a cluster of servers - if one server is experiencing load then some vSlices will be automatically migrated in real time (and with no disruption to the underlying applications) to spare resources inside the cluster. This ensures that you always receive your guaranteed resources and is one of the main benefits of 'cloud computing'. Clustering is available for all O/S including Linux and Windows.
